The start of November was the one weekend where travelling all the way to Blackpool (from London) on a 7 hour coach journey could be excused. This was due to the fact it was the home to one of the largest gaming exhibitions this year. R3play was the name of the event and it covered the 3 vital C’s – Coin-Ops, Consoles & Computing. With so many machines on show it was truly an epic event. Add to this the fact everything was on free-play and it was a geeks paradise.
